2007 / 2008

First Vice President – Jason Shapiro   Jason was born in the Dunwoody North community. His family has lived in the neighborhood since the late 70’s. After moving to Norcross for a short while, Jason returned to Dunwoody when he started college. He continues to live in Dunwoody North with his lovely wife Vanessa. Jason is an Industry Specialist with IBM.

Vice President of Zoning - Gerri Penn - Gerri and her husband, Roger have lived in Dunwoody North for 26 years. They have 2 adult children who grew up in Dunwoody North. Gerri has served on the DNCA Board since 1996 in various capacities. She serves on the Executive Board of DHA as a Member at Large working on Code Enforcement  and zoning issues. Gerri is the recording secretary of the Dunwoody North Home and Garden Club and is involved with her Temple, Temple Emanu-El.    Zoning@dunwoodynorth.org

Treasurer - Joe Bowen  - Joe purchased the first house in Briers North in 1986 and lives there with his wife, Debra, and son Jay. He is a native of North Georgia. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, he worked as a tax accountant before starting a computer company in Dunwoody.

Recording Secretary – Renate Herod - Renate and Chris Herod have lived in Dunwoody North since 1991. The Herods have two boys, Ethan and Sasha, who attend Chesnut Charter Elementary School. Renate serves on the Executive Board of the DHA and is a past-PTA President at Chesnut.  770-220-2744  herodfamily@bellsouth.net

Corresponding Secretary  - Bobbi Sedam- Bobbi Sedam is a long-time Dunwoody resident who moved to Stonehenge Drive in March, 2002. Bobbi is a Master Gardener and coordinates volunteers for some Extension Service projects and events. She is an active member in several environmental organizations and is especially interested in promoting recycling in DeKalb County. 770-986-7776

Member at Large - Mary Alice Bancroft – Mary Alice and her husband Steve have lived in Dunwoody North since 1985. They have two children, Bryce who attends Dunwoody High School and Wes who attends Peachtree Charter Middle School. Mary Alice has been on the Board of DNCA since 1985 in various positions including President.  She is a member of the Dunwoody North Driving Club.  770-455-4344

Member at Large - Glenn Florence - Glenn and his wife, Judy have lived in Dunwoody North for 7 years. They are active in tennis and Glenn plays some golf. Glenn owns his own business, as a commercial printing broker for 26 years. Judy is the business manager for a Pediatric center for five Physicians. Glenn and Judy are active members in the Dunwoody North Driving Club, they attend church at St. Martin's Episcopal Church. Their children are grown. gflore2802@aol.com

Member at Large - Fred Grobety – Fred and his wife, Rawson, have lived in Dunwoody North since 1999. They are members of the Dunwoody North Driving Club and proud Chesnut parents. Fred moved from Switzerland 11 years ago and lived in Miami and New York prior to marring an Atlanta native and settling in Dunwoody. Fred works for the Compass Group a contract foodservice company and Rawson is a realtor with Harry Norman. Fred and Rawson have three children, Sarah, James and Michael.

Member at Large - Amanda Levi   Amanda and Kevin Leung moved to Dunwoody North 2 years ago. Amanda, a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, is a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Chamblee High School in 1998 and UGA in 2002. Amanda enjoys volunteering for local organizations, working on her house, and spending time with family.

Member at Large - Leslie O'Callaghan    Leslie and her husband, Knox moved to Dunwoody North in l996. Their son, Britt, is a junior at St. Pius Catholic High School. Leslie has served on the DNCA Board in several positions. Both she and Knox have both served on the DNDC Board. Leslie is a Library Assistant at GPC.

Neighborhood Watch Program -Lisa O. Dierks-Unkefer - Lisa and her husband Gary, bought the house on Huntington Circle that Lisa grew up in. They moved back into the neighborhood in 1999. Lisa has worked for Smith Barney/Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. for over twenty years. Gary has been at Cross Fluid Power for over seventeen years. Parliamentarian - Barbara Dodds   Barbara is the past President of the DNCA and has been on the Civic Association consistently since 1996.  Barbara & her husband Ralph moved to Dunwoody North in 1976. They have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Barbara serves as Treasurer on the Dunwoody Homeowners Association, is President of the Dunwoody North Home and Garden Club and is very active in noise abatement issues at PDK.  770-455-0650

Garden Club Representative - Ellen Mauldin – Ellen and her husband, Vernon, have lived in the neighborhood since 1996. Ellen is on the Board of the Dunwoody North Driving Club, actively involved in ALTA tennis and is a member of the Dunwoody North Garden Club. She is a Computer Applications Manager at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and does monogramming in her spare time.

Pres. of Dunwoody North Driving Club - Chip Thompson   Chip and his wife, Ann Delay with their son Jarod live on Huntington Circle and they are very active at Chesnut, Murphy Candler & the DNDC.  Chip can be reached at ChipT@dunwoodynorth.org
