OVERVIEW
Dunwoody Elementary School opened to students in August 2009. The new school is an 18-acre campus located on Womack Drive adjacent to the DeKalb High School of Technology North campus, down the street from Dunwoody High School and around the corner from Peachtree Charter Middle School.
Dunwoody Elementary School consists of the fourth and fifth grade students from three of the elementary schools in the feeder pattern: Austin, Chesnut, and Vanderlyn Elementary Schools.
